God declares to Moses, “I will be what I will be”—a statement in the future tense, a commitment to act and care within the unfolding of history. It calls for faith not in what has been, but in what can be—a vision of possibility that shapes the world.

This future-oriented hope defines Israel’s resilience even in the face of oppression. From scarcity, creativity emerges; from destruction, renewal arises. Across generations, this capacity to do much with little has enabled survival, innovation, and rebirth, culminating in communities that thrive through courage, imagination, and the enduring belief in a better tomorrow.

The ideas are shaped and based on the work of Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks, and influenced by Maimonides, Nachmanides, Don Isaac Abarbanel, Samson Raphael Hirsch, David Zvi Hoffmann, Ben-Zion Meir Hai Uziel, and Uri Amos Cherki.
